WHAT IS A BENEFIT CONCERT?
A benefit concert is defined as a performance to raise money for a charitable cause. And that is exactly what we want to do. This event is called AFROCKA because Africa + rock = AFROCKA.
WHAT IS AFROCKA FOR?
Our hope and prayer is to bless people amidst social injustice across the world. AFROCKA is a chance for all of us to come together to enjoy a night of entertainment, raise money, fellowship with friends, hear moving testimonies, get inspired and learn about how we can change the world for God’s glory.

WHO IS IN CHARGE OF AFROCKA?
AFROCKA is led, inspired, and executed by a team of college students. We all have hearts for missions, music, and making a difference in God’s kingdom and would like you to be a part of this. The experience is overwhelming, and brings so much joy. When people leave AFROCKA, they leave knowing they’ve made a difference in someone’s life.
HOW MUCH MONEY HAS AFROCKA RAISED?
AFROCKA 2009 raised $2,000 for two students‘ 4 month missions trip to Africa. AFROCKA 2010 raised $4,000 for the Baraka School and Mission in the Mathare Valley Slum, in Nairobi, Kenya.
AFROCKA 2011 raised $5000 for the building of Jabali School in Nairobi, Kenya.

By coming to AFROCKA 2012 and supporting this mission and benefit you are investing into something greater than all of us.
